TALKTEMPUS

Talk Prep

Paste an outline or a full manuscript. Start from a Word file or paste your text. An outline's title and numbered sections are recognized, Word headings become named sections, and your bold, italic, underline and highlight are kept. This finds the natural section breaks, names each one, lets you bold, star and indent line by line while you watch a live preview, and gives you text formatted the way Talktempus reads it, ready to paste straight in.

Nothing you paste or upload is saved anywhere — it lives in this tab and clears when you close it.

Your talk Step 1

Works with rough outlines and full manuscripts alike. Bold, italic, underline and highlight pasted from Word or Google Docs are kept. No talk handy? Get the practice talk (Word file).

Review the sections Step 3

Paste this into the Cue Sheet's Talk name box in Talktempus.

Section titles:

Click a pin to add or remove a break. Titles are always editable. Click into any block to edit it, and press Enter where you want it to split in two (Backspace at the start joins it back). Use the buttons under a block to bold, italicize, underline, highlight, star or indent it.

Select a phrase, then B bold · I italic · U underline · Hi highlight (with nothing selected they format the whole line) · H makes the selected line a section heading (press again to undo) · ★ line marks a key line · ★ section stars the whole section · → makes a bullet, then indents it as a subpoint · ← moves it back out
